Mega Charizard X Competition, Arceus, and more await your challenge!

The latest update for both Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon Shuffle Mobile has gone live!  The Mega Charizard X competition has gone live, and a host of other challenges lie before you, including the ultra-powerful Arceus and a chance at nabbing the elusive Xerneas! There’s still some events going on from last week, so be sure to grab them before they’re gone!

Here’s this week’s Pokémon Shuffle content update for August 30, 2016:

Competitive Stage

Mega Charizard X Competition

The Mega Charizard X competition stage is now live! Aim for a high score in this limited move-based competition and rank against other players around the globe for a shot at valuable prizes including the Charizardite X used to Mega Evolve Charizard!

This event runs from now until September 6, 2016.

Ultra Challenge

Arceus Appears

Arceus is here now! Can you defeat the overwhelming power of this Mythical Pokémon? Gather your strongest team together to take on this fearsome challenge! You may wish to level up your best Fighting-type Pokémon first. Using an Attack Power ↑ and Disruption Delay might also give you a better shot at beating and catching this tough Pokémon!

This event runs from now until September 13, 2016.

Special Challenge

Xerneas Appears

Take on Xerneas here! Xerneas, which appears in expert stage 18, can be found in a special stage! Don’t miss this chance to defeat and catch this powerful foe. Strengthen Xerneas to prepare it for the Mega Charizard X competitive stage!

This event runs from now until September 6, 2016.

Great Challenge

Regice Appears

Take on the Legendary Pokémon Regice here! This powerful foe can only be encountered in this stage. Don’t let this one pass you by! Using an Attack Power ↑ and Mega Start might also give you a better shot at beating and catching this tough Pokémon!

This event runs from now until September 13, 2016.

Daily Pokémon

Here’s the lineup of Pokémon appearing each day this week:

  1. Tuesday: Dunsparce
  2. Wednesday: Qwilfish
  3. Thursday: Durant
  4. Friday: Heatmor
  5. Monday: Maractus

This event runs from now until September 13, 2016.

Oh boy, Arceus! That Double Normal ability is something to behold, and something I definitely want to add to my team! Worth mentioning is that Xerneas might be a worthwhile asset against Mega Charizard X, so be sure to snag that while it’s more readily available.
