One of the most notable features of the Dual Destiny event is its flexible timeline. There’s no strict deadline for completing the research tasks, making it accessible for players to progress through the steps when it suits them. The event comprises ten steps, with tasks ranging from catching a set number of Pokémon to spinning Poké Stops and participating in battles.

For example, Step 1 requires catching 25 Pokémon, spinning 10 Poké Stops or Gyms, and exploring 3 kilometers, while rewarding players with Poké Balls, Pinap Berries, and a Snorlax encounter. Step 2 includes tasks like catching 50 Pokémon and winning a Max Battle, with rewards such as a Lure Module and Rare Candy.
