Exciting Twists in Pokémon GO’s Fashion Week: Taken Over Event

Pokémon GO enthusiasts have a thrilling twist to look forward to with the “Fashion Week: Taken Over” event. Running from January 15 to January 19, 2025, Team GO Rocket brings a new theme that interrupts the current Fashion Week in the game. This event introduces exciting features and challenges.

One of the main highlights is the debut of Shroodle, a new species from the Paldea region. Trainers can find Shroodle in 12 km Eggs, and with enough Shroodle Candy, it evolves into Grafaiai, adding a fresh dynamic to the game.

Additionally, players will encounter a new Shadow Legendary Pokémon: Palkia. Corrupted by Giovanni, Shadow Palkia appears through a special mission. Completing this mission grants a Super Rocket Radar, essential for tracking down Giovanni. This Special Research is available until the end of the Pokémon GO: Dual Destiny event on March 4, 2025.

The event also introduces several new Shadow Pokémon: Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. These additions continue the trend of offering Shadow variants, presenting new challenges and opportunities for collection expansion.

Team GO Rocket will make more frequent appearances at PokéStops and in balloons during the event. Trainers can also use Charged TMs to help Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration, adding a strategic element to battles.

Further features include photobombs from Croagunk wearing a cap, event-themed Field Research, and a Collection Challenge that awards Stardust and encounters with Trubbish. Various raids, from one-star to three-star, will feature Shadow Pokémon, including some with Shiny potential.

“Fashion Week: Taken Over” promises a mix of new Pokémon, challenges, and Team GO Rocket encounters, making it an engaging event for Pokémon GO trainers worldwide.
